'It's encouraging to see positive revenue momentum': Alumasc remains confident of progress
Sustainable building products business Alumasc revealed it achieved “positive revenue uplift” through the first quarter of the year.
Group revenues for the first quarter of the year were 10 per cent ahead of the same period last year, which it described as reflecting decisive actions to execute the group’s commercial strategy.
In a statement, the group added: “Margins have also improved year-on-year as expected, reflecting both the group’s operational gearing and the benefit of recent restructuring actions.”
"Order intake during Q1 FY27 (the first quarter) remained strong, providing encouraging early signs of improved conversion rates.”

This positive momentum has continued into the early part of the second quarter of the year, Alumasc added in a statement for investors.
Vijay Thakrar, Interim Executive Chair, commented: “Against such a tough economic and construction market backdrop, it is encouraging to see the positive revenue and order intake momentum continue over Q1 FY27 (the first quarter) and into the first weeks of Q2 (the second quarter) across all of our divisions.
"Our management teams are performing well, under the leadership of the executive board, progressing our strategic self-help and organic growth objectives.
“The board remains confident of progress in FY27 (full year 2027), in line with expectations, and in the group’s ability to outperform its underlying markets and deliver significant shareholder value.”
