JMG Group continues Midlands expansion with trio of acquisitions
A Yorkshire-based insurance broker has grown by acquisition in the Midlands as part of a strategy to increase its market share.
JMG Group, which is based in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, has snapped up Jukes Insurance Brokers, RP Lovatt and Nene Valley Insurance Practice to help it expand.
A spokesman said the deals reflect ongoing investment for JMG Group in the Midlands and South West and builds on its acquisition of Boston Insurance Brokers in September 2025.

Founded by Igor Jukes in 1963, Jukes Insurance Brokers was taken over by Ivor’s brother-in-law Kenneth Godsall in 1982, who brought his son Richard into the business.
Today, Richard’s son James runs the business alongside operations director Arran Williams. The Bromsgrove based firm opened a Warwick office in 2022 with the acquisition of North Warwick Insurance Services and employs 17 staff across two locations.
The acquisition of RP Lovatt will allow JMG Group to extend its reach in Oxfordshire. Established in 1960 by Ron Lovatt, Ron’s son Michael joined the business in 1963, with his grandson Marc coming on board in 2004.
Northampton-based Nene Valley Insurance Practice has also joined JMG Group business BQI Insurance.
