Leeds-based Telescope acquires Clearsilver Brand Marketing

Leeds-based print, direct and digital marketing agency, Telescope, has announced the acquisition of specialist communications agency, Clearsilver Brand Marketing, for an undisclosed sum.

Clearsilver Brand Marketing, which is also based in Leeds, is a full-service marketing agency which specialises in the mother and baby, education and health and wellness sectors.

The firm also supports the third sector with marketing and research support.

The newly formed partnership will work as one team at new offices close to Leeds Dock.

Ian Leach, co-founder of Clearsilver and current managing director, at Telescope, will lead in the day-to-day management of both companies, supported by employees from both companies.

Louise Leach, former director of Clearsilver Brand Marketing, said: “Clearsilver and Telescope have worked in partnership on numerous projects over the last ten years, and there isn’t a closer fit to maximise success for both parties.

Marketing agency Telescope specialises in the designing and building of websites, as well as catalogue production, direct marketing and design for print.

In 2018, Clearsilver won the e-Commerce Company of the Year award at the Northern Ecommerce Awards.

Telescope has worked with brands including motor sport firm Ginetta, as well as bathroom fixtures company Bristan Group.
