Small and medium-sized businesses in West Yorkshire can apply for an Apprenticeship Grant for Employers (AGE) to support firms looking to recruit trainees aged between 16 and 24.

LEP chairman Roger Marsh said a survey of 3,000 businesses in the region showed firms want to take on apprentices to grow and retain skills.
