L&G in pledge to invest in property sector
AMONG L&G’S main infrastructure investments in the North is its role in a consortium to build the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital for £335m.
It is also involved in the English Cities Fund, whose portfolio comprises five schemes, including in Wakefield.
Together they are delivering more than 5.4m sq ft of mixed use floor space, including hundreds of new homes, and bringing back into productive use acres of brownfield land.
It was created by the Government, and the three partners are Muse Developments, Legal & General Property and the Homes & Communities Agency.
