Best known for her iconic round sheep, Lucy has also painted collections for cycling, camping and travelling around her beloved Yorkshire, the Lake District and Teesside, where she grew up.

Not to mention her one-off pieces, such as her new creation the ‘Queen of the flock’ to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – with the crown on the head of a sheep, of course, against the backdrop of the union flag.

Lucy explains: “I take my inspiration from my surroundings, as well as what’s happening in my life at the time. When I had children, I began to see the world through their eyes, its purity, simplicity and rich bright colours. It ignited my own imagination and took me on a journey back to my where I remember spending hours just drawing and painting.”

New releases for home makeovers

One of Lucy’s most popular paintings is entitled ‘Our happy place’, which represents her beloved family caravan in the Lake District where she spends special time with her husband and 13-year-old twins.

The Lake District was the theme for a brand new collection of ten original pieces which Lucy released in March 2022. With further collections due for release later this year, fans will be treated to some familiar sights as well as new themes.

For three years, Lucy was the official artist for the Tour de Yorkshire cycle ride, which attracted international interest and widened her already loyal fanbase.
