Majority stake in Harrogate Water to be sold to Volvic owner Danone

Multinational food and drink giant Danone is to acquire a majority stake in Harrogate Water after entering into a share purchase agreement with the Yorkshire business.

The current shareholders of Harrogate Water, the Cain family, will remain as minority shareholders and continue to contribute to the growth of the company.
