Metro Bank confirms £350m fund raise
Metro Bank has confirmed it is to raise £350m of equity capital to support its growth plans.
Investors will be asked to help raise the funds to shore up its finances following issues surrounding an accounting blunder.
A statement said: “Metro Bank has commenced final discussions with existing shareholders and new investors, and the feedback continues to be positive.”
