MICHELIN Guide: Peak Edge Hotel and Casa Hotel in Derbyshire gain international recognition
Two independent hotels in Derbyshire have been ranked among the finest in the world.
Peak Edge Hotel and Casa Hotel both feature in the MICHELIN Guide, which recognises hotels judged to possess outstanding character, service, design and overall guest experience.
A spokesman said: “The recognition marks another milestone for Casa Hotels Group. Peak Edge Hotel, a luxury four-star boutique hotel on the edge of the Peak District National Park, recently won Gold for Hotel of the Year at the Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards 2026 and will now represent the region at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. The hotel also recently achieved an AA Quality Score of 85 per cent following its latest inspection - a level typically associated with five-star hotels and among the strongest-performing four-star hotels in the country. Casa Hotel has become one of Chesterfield’s best-known independent hotels, recognised for its luxury bedrooms, Barca Bar, award-winning Cocina restaurant and strong reputation within the corporate and events market.”
