More vegan success for HECK as it confirms new store distribution
The Heck Breakfast sausage will be launched into Sainsbury’s this week and eight different flavours of burgers and sausages has been stocked by Tesco - all of which comply with a plant-based diet.
HECK, based in Bedale in North Yorkshire, is the fastest-growing business in Yorkshire and the new listing means its vegan products will be available in more than 1,000 stores.

“We are seeing a huge shift in eating patterns as people look for either flexitarian or vegan choices.
“All our burgers and sausages are lean and clean plant based, so no nasties or “fake meat”.
“It’s been a huge hit with all our customers.”
HECK was founded by five years ago by the Keeble family and quickly found fame for creating quirky variations on established products. It created 75 jobs when it opened a £3.5m factory in 2017, giving it the capacity to produce more than 700 sausages per minute.

Mr Keeble added: “ Our vegan range is now in 800 stores in Australia and in September we will be launching into Holland’s biggest supermarkets. I can really see one day when vegan sells as much as our traditional ranges.”
