New board role at Yorkshire data security powerhouse

As the continuing expansion of its ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) business grows to record levels, Rotherham based S2S Group has strengthened its board, with the appointment of Rachel Hall as Operations Director.

Rachel joined the company in 2007 and has held senior roles in operations management and key account handling; supporting the continued growth as the company has evolved. She said she was delighted: “As the ITAD industry continues to grow rapidly, the company decided that now was the right time to advance my role, not only to strengthen our leadership team but to also ensure that S2S Group continues to lead the way in data security, sustainability, and the environment.

There will also be two new positions created and will be filled by current directors of S2S, Alan Dukinfield will take up the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chris Hare will take up the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Environmental audits

Recently S2S Group been audited on-site by both ADISA and the Environment Agency, passing both these annual appraisals with full compliance.

In keeping with its growth plans, a number of new capital projects have been undertaken including installing solar panels - in keeping with its zero-carbon initiative, purchasing new electronic forklifts and building a new 4 tier racking system to optimise warehouse space.
