Norwegian business leaders head to Hull to forge economic ties
Norwegian business leaders will head to Hull next month to forge stronger economic links with Yorkshire.
The Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce is joining forces with the Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) to bring the Energetic Future Conference 2026 to the Humber on November 17 and 18.
The conference theme is “The North Sea: From Vision to Value” which will highlight how the North Sea is evolving into a “shared industrial ecosystem”, linking the UK and Norway through hydrogen trade, C02 transport, offshore wind and maritime logistics.
A spokesman said: “The event will see a large delegation of Norwegian business leaders descend on the region to look at business opportunities in and around the Humber, with the event getting underway with a reception at The Deep, hosted by the Deputy Norwegian Ambassador to the UK, Mariam Naqvi, on the evening of Tuesday, November 17.”

"Tuesday, November 17 will see the delegates attending site visits, starting with Catch in North Lincolnshire to learn more about the industries around the Humber, before splitting into two groups to visit businesses on the north and south banks of the Humber.”
