Omni-Pac Group UK to create 100 jobs as it launches new manufacturing facility in Scunthorpe

Omni-Pac Group UK, the manufacturer and supplier of moulded fibre packaging products, is creating more than 100 jobs by launching a new manufacturing facility as part of a strategy to double its turnover to £40m.

The 60,000sq. ft site, based on the Normanby Enterprise Park in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, is its third facility in the UK. The new facility will enable Omni-Pac Group UK to expand its production capabilities using conventional pulp fibre moulding and pressing equipment to create an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic packaging.

A spokesman said: “Omni-Pac already supplies large contracts across a number of specialist industries across the UK, including the medical, horticulture and food sectors.
