One man and his marketing presentation

A Yorkshire PR expert is giving a creative twist to an inaugural international marketing by bringing the festival to its audiences.

Andy Green will present his One Man Pecha Kucha, and also offer a creativity doctor service, to workplaces in Edinburgh during the first International Marketing Festival, which takes place from August 23-25.

Pecha Kucha – which is Japanese for "chit chat" – consists of a series of presentations using 20 Powerpoint slides, each showing for just 20 seconds.

He is planning to travel around Edinburgh in his "world's smallest conference centre" where he will also be offering the equivalent of a creativity doctor service with free one-to-one consultations to help solve problems, spot new opportunities, and provide tips and advice to improve creative and flexible thinking skills.

Mr Green, a partner at Wakefield-based Green Communications, is an author and expert on creativity and brand communications and lectures around the world. He is also the founder of the Flexible Thinking Forum, a not-for-profit enterprise promoting flexible and creative thinking skills in business and the community.
