Proactis moves into Indian market
The Wetherby-based company said Indian businesses are trying to compete on a global basis by improving the transparency and reliability of their procurement processes. They are also keen to increase profits by reducing costs.
Proactis designs and licenses software for businesses and organisations to cut the cost of procurement.

Hide AdThe joint venture operation, called Proactis Total Procure Private Limited (PTP), will provide outsourced procurement services to the Indian market, initially incorporating procurement reviews, vendor networking, sourcing and contract management delivered using the group’s established global software platform.
PTP has already started an exploratory project for the provision of these services to a global producer of well-known consumer brands.
It has two joint venture partners, Khwantum Capital Private Limited and Avan Projects Private Limited.
Proactis said the two partners will give it access to a “unique network of decision makers”.

Proactis is offering a cloud-based subscription business model to complement its traditional model.
