Quickline opens new Leeds hub to support rural broadband drive
The site forms part of the provider’s delivery under Project Gigabit - the UK Government-funded programme which aims to enable hard-to-reach communities to access gigabit-capable broadband.
Located in the Leeds South West and Morley constituency, the facility was officially opened by local MP Mark Sewards, alongside representatives from Quickline and the Government.

Mr Sewards said: “It’s fantastic to see this investment in our community, not only bringing world-class connectivity to rural areas but also providing opportunities for young people to learn and gain valuable experience in an exciting, fast-moving industry.”
Guests at the launch toured the new stores and offices before observing a live training session led by Quickline engineers with a group of Year 12 students from nearby Kirklees College, who were undertaking work experience.
Quickline said the Leeds site will act as a hub to support the delivery of its Project Gigabit contracts across West and South Yorkshire, in amove that would help bring gigabit-capable broadband to some of the hardest-to-reach rural communities in the region.
