Rallying cry for Yorkshire professionals
The Collaborative Professionals Network (CPN) has been established to shout about the world class professionals who have established a base in Yorkshire.
The group aims to provide a forum for informed debate about the major issues facing the region’s economy.

Earlier this year, CPN hosted an event featuring Sir Clive Woodward, who is the former head coach of England’s rugby union team and also served as Team GB’s director of sport. During his speech at Leeds Beckett University, Sir Clive outlined how the “teamship” approach revolved around “creating an environment so good that everyone wants to be a part of it and nobody ever wants to leave”.
Karen Eckstein, a legal director of Bond Dickinson, who is one of the founder members of the CPN, said: “We hope to expand the reach of CPN once we have set up a formal group, to allow other professional bodies and business groups to take part. The CPN is all about collaboration, working together for the benefit of business and professionals in Yorkshire.”
The next CPN event, about the art of successful networking, will be held at PwC in Central Square, Leeds on Wednesday, July 5 from 6pm and will feature ‘soft skills’ expert Sean Costello.
