Revealed: Yorkshire’s top finance directors

​THE Conservative MP and entrepreneur Kevin Hollinrake led tributes to the achievements of Yorkshire’s finance directors at a ceremony in Leeds last night.

The Hunters Property chairman was guest speaker at the Yorkshire Finance Director Awards.

In his speech, he called for Yorkshire to unite behind a bid for a region-wide mayor to win more funding from Westminster.

Victoria Wooding of the global brand implementation specialist Principle Group won the outstanding achievement award.

Past winner Andy Finneran, chief financial officer of R&R Ice Cream, told the audience about the importance of finance directors in acting as a counter balance to entrepreneurial chief executives.
