Sovereign appoints new finance boss to improve efficiency as it expands

Mr Sellars, who studied economics before qualifying with Deloitte, joins the Bradford-based company from OneFamily, where he acted as head of finance.

Sovereign said Mr Sellars’ wide ranging expertise includes insurance and investment accounting, financial reporting and closing, and statutory accounting.

Sovereign said Mr Sellars would maintain the company’s focus on regulatory compliance, which includes getting the most out of changing requirements, and developing scale responses to the increasingly challenging environment.
