SPG Resourcing accelerates growth plans with appointment of first non-executive director

A technology talent advisory business which has a base in Yorkshire has hired an experienced director to support its plans for growth.

SPG Resourcing has appointed Alex Arnot as its first non-executive director. Mr Arnot has helped more than 20 companies to scale up and achieve successful exits. He is also a board adviser to more than 30 technology companies.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Arnot said: “SPG Resourcing brings something new to the tech sector, and I’m pleased to work with the management team to help them scale rapidly and efficiently.”

SPG Resourcing, which has offices in Leeds and Newcastle, provides interim and permanent technology resources to a range of companies, from insurance and financial services to health, housing and large FTSE businesses.Sam Hameed, co-founder and managing director of SPG Resourcing, said: “Alex brings a wealth of experience to our business.
