The Leeds-based firm said Mike Thornton will continue to carry out his existing duties during his nine-month notice period, which can be terminated earlier by mutual agreement.
Chairman Doug Liversidge said: “I would like to thank Mike, on behalf of the board, for his efforts and continued contribution to the ongoing restructuring of the company’s activities”.

Hide AdThe company’s chief executive Graham Bowland stepped down from his role at the end of September.
Last month it was announced that entrepreneur Chris Rea, founder of AESSEAL, took up the role of interim managing director.
The group recently revealed that it may pull the plug on plans to build a state-of-the-art research and development centre in Leeds following a “disappointing” first half performance.
