Surgical Innovations reveals directorate changes and board succession planning
Surgical Innovations Group, the designer, manufacturer and distributor of technology for minimally invasive surgery, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Glenn as senior independent non-executive director and chairman-designate of the company with immediate effect.
He joins the board in anticipation of the upcoming retirement of Professor Mike McMahon, the founder of the company, who retires from the board at the annual general meeting, which is expected to take place on 27 June 2023.
Chairman of the company, Nigel Rogers, commented: "It has been my great pleasure to lead the board since my appointment in 2015, and especially to work alongside Prof. Mike McMahon. As part of our planned succession arrangements, we are now delighted to have Jonathan joining us, and look forward to working with him to complete the transition in board composition for the next stage in the company's evolution."
