Three major occupiers take up spots in Leeds centre's redeveloped King Street building

Fiera Real Estate UK and Opus North have announced that three major occupiers have taken up two floors at the redeveloped 12 King Street building, in the heart of the Leeds Business District.

Global consultancy firm Arcadis is set to shift its local team to 12 King Street, as well as leading UK recruitment firm Michael Page, which has taken a floor in the development.

Funding provider Reward Finance Group is the third party to sign up to the landmark building, which comprises 54,000 sq.ft of Grade A space.

Ryan Unsworth, joint managing director at Opus North, said: “We are thrilled to secure three more major occupants who are relocating their main offices in Leeds to 12 King Street."

The £11 million transformation of the building, which was completed in June 2022, includes a new facade and a complete replacement of the fifth and sixth floors.

Sustainability and environmental considerations have also been at the forefront of the design of the redevelopment. The scheme has achieved a 14 per cent reduction in carbon emissions, 29 per cent less energy consumption for heating and cooling, and 42 per cent less water consumption.
