Tucker's recruit drive doubles office size

Engineering consultancy Morgan Tucker has more than doubled the size of its Leeds office'‹.

The firm​ said the new recruits will ​work on projects across the north of the country in the rail, commercial, industrial, energy, food manufacturing, university and residential sectors.

​​The Leeds office works on traffic and transportation, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical projects throughout the UK.

Recent projects have included providing infrastructure planning and design for soft drink manufacturer Britvic in Leeds, Rugby and Beckton and implementing a design service for a new 1,250 sq ft Greggs store at Keighley Retail Park.

Regional director, Michael Crown​,​ ​said: “We’re delighted to have welcomed such a strong selection of team members as a result of new business wins and continued support from existing customers.​ ​As a result, we needed to expand significantly.”

M​organ Tucker has appointed​ five engineers and a regional administrator.

Based on Park Square West in the city centre, the firm has ​appointed principal structural engineer James Boswell, structural design engineer Ben Jagger, civil engineer William Livermore, technician Callum Fogarty, senior computer aided design technician Chris Ainsley and principal infrastructure engineer Liam Evans​ following a number of new business wins over the past year.

​​Lynda Baird has also joined the team as regional administrator, increasing staff numbers in the Leeds office to ten.
