Yorkshire-based financial advisor scoops a national award for sound mortgage and protection advice

Palm Financial Services was formed in 2017 with a very simple goal; always seek to understand the financial market so as to offer the very best advice to our clients.

Yasir has just won Mortgage and Protection Advice Specialist of the Year at the Personal Finance Awards 2022/23. The glittering event took place at Birmingham NEC with host Actress Sally Philips and was organised by the Personal Finance Society which is the leading UK professional body for financial planners and those in related roles. With more 36,000 members, it encourages the highest standards of professionalism by setting standards for technical knowledge, ethical practice and professional development.

Yasir has recently expanded his team of experts to allow the firm to take on more clients. He added: “We have seen an increased demand for our services and so it is great to able to take on more staff and help more people.”

It is just the latest award for Yasir; in 2021 he picked up title of Mortgage Broker of the Year at the Yorkshire Financial Awards to add to a tally of top honours.

He has been offering Independent Financial Advice since 2010 and has been an appointed representative of 2Plan Wealth Management since 2016.

He advises more than 750 clients across the United Kingdom, helping them work towards their personal financial goals.

His client base has grown through a strong track record in dealing with a range of professionals including doctors, dentists, pharmacists, engineers, teachers,etcHe lists his specialties as investments, mortgages, protection, pensions, Islamic finance, inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and commercial mortgages.With a career in banking and financial services spanning more than 15 years he has achieved Chartered Financial Planner Status and is now working towards achieving Fellowship at the Chartered Insurance Institute.

But his clients are at the heart of Yasir plans for the future.
