Yorkshire firm Mobile Tornado extends partnership with South Africa's Instacom

Harrogate-based phone technology firm Mobile Tornado has extended its partnership with Instacom, a leading provider of critical communications solutions to government agencies and private enterprises in Africa.

Instacom is based in Pretoria, South Africa and serves sectors such as security, healthcare, agriculture, construction, mining, transport and logistics with operations in 20 African countries. Blue chip customers include Anglo American, Bidvest, Unilever, Vodafone, Department of Health, G4S and Vodacom.

The company is a reseller of Mobile Tornado’s push-to-talk over cellular technologies for organisations that depend on fast, robust and reliable communications between individuals and large groups.

The two companies have agreed to extend their resell partnership until 2026.

As part of the agreement, Mobile Tornado will act as exclusive UK reseller for Instacom’s PTX personnel management platform.
