Yorkshire kitchen specialist targets new customers with new base and £100,000 investment

Specialist independent kitchen design and installation company Kitchen Craft Design has opened its fourth premises in the region after a £100,000 investment.

The company, which already operates from Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, Chesterfield and Worksop, has opened a showroom at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre.Sheffield solicitors Wake Smith advised on the lease for the 1,000 sq ft site, based in one of four newly developed units at the popular shopping destination, for managing director William Toon.

The move sees the company, which has a turnover of £3m, target customers across East Sheffield and expand its full-time team to 18, alongside its growing band of sub-contractors.

Mr Toon, who took over the established 37-year-old company from his father, Andrew, nine years ago, said: “We looked at the East side of Sheffield and realised there was a big catchment area that we were not targeting. The opportunity to move into Crystal Peaks means we are exactly where we want to be.
