Her foal, King, who Hannah described as more like a family dog than a horse, such was his personality and intelligence, lost his life earlier this week after being spooked into bolting by fireworks exploding above his field. Some of the images Hannah has shared with The Yorkshire Post make difficult viewing, and readers who may be sensitive to seeing what happened to King are advised to proceed with caution or not at all.
The Yorkshire Post has taken the unusual decision to share these difficult images in order to convey the truth of the matter to readers.
Editor, James Mitchinson, has written a newsletter on what happened to the Allwoods. You can sign up to his newsletters, HERE.
