A North Yorkshire farmer was astonished when a spring lamb was born with its very own 'face mask'.

The Lleyn lamb at Robert Hudson's farm has unusual markings that make it appear as if it is wearing a black face mask.

Robert, of Bedale, North Yorkshire was astonished at the unique mark, especially as the lamb was born in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.

"They occasionally produce a random black mark, but I have never seen one like this before," he said.

"The fact it occurred during a global pandemic where everyone is wearing masks is just unbelievable."
