New partnership offers courses and training for Yorkshire Campus at Northallerton

Campus@Northallerton (C@N) is an exciting new partnership between Hambleton District Council, the University of Sunderland and York College, which have come together to offer education and training courses based in Northallerton. The million-pound campus opened in January 2022 and forms part of a larger development to transform a former prison site into a retail, business and leisure complex in the heart of Northallerton town centre.

Unique partnership

They will be offering employers and individuals the opportunity to develop new skills through a range of education routes for personal and business growth at Campus@Northallerton.

So far, a range of taster sessions have showcased courses, while connections have been made with local schools, authorities, the Local Enterprise Partnerships and other key stakeholders. They are now reaching out further to provide training to address regional skill shortages.
