Organised by Wakefield Girls’ High School, the Girls Forge Futures 2021 taking place in April has a stellar line-up, guaranteed to inspire parents with daughters aged 11 and over.

The guest speakers are inspiring leaders from a cross section of industries: Executive Director at J.P.Morgan, British Empire Medal winner and Founder of Love Drinks Ltd, a Partner and Head of Family Business at Mazars, Chief Operating Officer at Trouva No.1 in the Startups 100 Index 2020; Senior Product Manager at Amazon, NHS Consultant Surgeon, Barrister, Editor, Head of Global Events, a Business Manager and Legal Director.

The webinar for families is designed to inspire, and ‘to help each girl to become who and what she wants to be’, says head teacher Heidi-Jayne Boyes.

Ms Boyes added: “Girls Forge Futures 2021 is a live webinar from Wakefield Girls' High School. We are specialists in world class girls’ education and our mission is to ensure that our students develop the critical skills for success as women. We are collaborating with best-in-practice female leaders from a broad section of industries to help educate, prepare and empower today's girls to flourish in tomorrow’s unknown.”

The 11, all former #WakefieldGirls, now sit in boardrooms and businesses around the country.

Ms Boyes added: “Our guest speakers and alumnae will be sharing tips and advice to help our daughters become powerful and capable young women who forge futures of their choice. Book your seat and join us, wherever you are. All are welcome.”

The event is designed to share what helps girls become successful, helping parents prepare their daughters. There will be a question and answer session at the end.
