Latest coronavirus cases in Yorkshire as deaths in UK pass 7,000

The confirmed number of coronavirus cases in Yorkshire has risen to 3,490, according to figures released by Public Health England.

That is an increase of 382 on the previous day.

In the UK confirmed cases have risen by 5,492 in the past 24 hours.

The total of confirmed cases in the UK is 60,733 cases.

This data is correct as of 9am on Wednesday, April 8.

There have been 7,097 deaths in the UK.
