Latest figures confirm 16 further coronavirus deaths in Yorkshire hospitals

The latest daily figures have confirmed 16 new coronavirus deaths in Yorkshire hospitals.

The Public Health England data is published daily and reflects the latest reporting period which is 5pm the day before publication.

There has been a total of 2,706 Covid-19 deaths in hospitals across the region.

In England, a further 83 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died.

The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 27,790.

Patients were aged between 26 and 102 years old, and all had known underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.
