Total of 45 new Covid deaths recorded in Yorkshire

A total of 45 new Covid deaths have been recorded in Yorkshire according to new figures.

There has now been 4,146 deaths in Yorkshire from the virus.

On Wednesday, a total of 45 new deaths were recorded in the region by the following trusts:

Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust: 13

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust: 3

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 5

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 3

Deaths were recorded where a patient either tested positive for Covid-19 or where no positive test result was received for Covid-19, but Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
