How you can make voice heard

THE YORKSHIRE Post is to hold a public debate on the future of NHS care in the region.

The event will be held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield, on Monday, September 22, at 6pm.

An experienced panel who will help lead the debate and answer questions will include health economist Alan Maynard, chairman of the NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group, and retired consultant radiologist Bob Bury.

Bill McCarthy, deputy vice-chancellor of Bradford University and a former NHS England director, and Richmondshire District Council leader John Blackie, who opposed the reorganisation of maternity services at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton, will also take part.
