Stunning drone footage celebrates Yorkshire Day showing county in all its glory

Happy Yorkshire Day!

We all know how great Yorkshire is, but this stunning drone footage has captured the beauty of our county perfectly.

As well as the beauty of Whitby Abbey and the masterpiece of construction that is Ribblehead Viaduct, the video also showcases the Humber Bridge, which was once the world's longest single-span suspension bridge.

It crosses the stepping stones over the River Wharfe at Bolton Abbey, as well as showing off Wentworth Woodhouse, with its facade that is even longer than Buckingham Palace's, and Spurn Point Lighthouse, the 125-year-old building where that has been a lighthouse of some sort since 1427.

Sit back, take in the beauty of our county and appreciate how lucky we are to live here while watching the video.
