New All-electric CUPRA Born: test drive it now at JCT600
CUPRA – the high-performance road car branch of the SEAT brand – brings its first-ever all-electric production car to the showrooms this month. And to celebrate the launch campaign CUPRA has teamed up with UK charity Trees for Cities.*
The tree-planting partnership will run from April 14-25 – another great reason to see what the CUPRA Born is all about and to book your test drive with Sheffield’s JCT600.
The CUPRA Born
We all know that electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, particularly for those who want to look after the environment. And with the CUPRA Born you can do that in a car that will get you further than you might think, without compromising on performance.
Fully charged it has an impressive 335 miles of range and up to 231hp. Looks-wise it retains the concept’s styling and boasts use of recycled materials in the interior.
The 12-inch display comes as standard and price from £33,735 it’s positioned to be an all-rounder appealing to the environmentally-conscious driver, who doesn’t want to compromise on performance – whether it’s your first car or your 21st car!
Since its presentation at the Geneva Motor Show last year the CUPRA Born Concept has drawn praise for its sleek looks and personality. Performance and dynamics were a clear focus of the development of the car, which can be seen in the resulting forecourt model, which is being manufactured in Germany.
As well as having an impressive driving range (500km, or 335miles) it’s quick to charge and in just 30 minutes will have enough power to go at least 260km.
The specially designed chassis and sportive bucket seats definitely give the car a sporty feel and look.
