Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy has transformed the restaurant by introducing a beautiful, al-fresco style terrace, usually found in Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
The new terrace was unveiled last month and brings an authentic feel of Spain to the heart of Sheffield.
The tapas bar terrace is made from rustic timber, with potted hanging baskets and hand painted signs evoking a typical Spanish look. The entire terrace is decorated with plants and greenery, creating a fresh and vibrant look which transports guests to the Mediterranean - letting you forget immediately you are in the middle of a very busy shopping centre!
Omar said: “I’m delighted to be celebrating Tapas Revolution’s second anniversary in Sheffield; we’ve really enjoyed bringing a taste of Spain to Meadowhall.
“Our new terrace will bring a more relaxed feel to our guests and we hope to transport diners to sunny Spain for a moment whilst they’re shopping at Meadowhall.”
Open all day, Tapas Revolution in Sheffield’s Meadowhall guides diners on a culinary adventure across Spain, from breakfast in Madrid to dinner in Seville.
The full tapas menu offers a large variety of small plates, cooked to perfection, and complemented by the best Spain has to offer in terms of charcuterie.
Expect all the classics, such as tortilla, croquetas de jamon, calamares, chorizo cooked in Asturian cider and freshly-made Churros alongside some surprises of Omar’s own creation.
Guests can also enjoy the new sangria menu, with five different homemade sangrias, mixed using a selection of innovative fruit and flavour combinations.
Tapas Revolution in Meadowhall, Sheffield opened in April 2016. Its opening hours are Monday–Friday, 10am-9pm, Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 11am–5pm.
