Historic Yorkshire house tops the chart as the world's most beautiful stately home
Topping the global list is Yorkshire’s own Castle Howard. The Grade I listed property, which is open to the public, takes the title of the most beautiful stately home in the world. The Grade I listed building has received a mention of ‘beauty’ from 47.06% of all reviewers. Aside from the stunning architecture and interiors, many have praised the estate for its lavish chapel and gorgeous gardens.
The second UK-based home to feature in the list is Waddesdon Manor in Aylsbury. Owned by the National Trust, this country house sees hundreds of thousands of visitors through its doors every year.
