Sharon Dale has spent 34 years in journalism.  She grew up in a corner shop, which opened her eyes to the extraordinary lives of ordinary people and the stories therein.

Her career began as a trainee on her local weekly newspaper, where she was taught by some of the best, including the late, great John Jackson.

Her ambition was to work for The Yorkshire Post, where she is now a feature writer and residential Property and Interiors Editor.
