Saving for a deposit can take longer than initially thought, but - according to a new study - how long it takes to save for down payment on a house or flat can vary, depending on where you live.

CIA Landlord has analysed how long it takes the average person to save for a deposit around the UK. These are the 15 cities where savers struggled the most, taking into account average house prices in each area, as well as average deposits, monthly salary and spending and average monthly savings.
