Property news: Estate agent supports charity cycle ride

Hunters Property Group recently helped a group of 11 year old boys get on their bikes for charity.

The estate agent sponsored the five-strong Hunters Heroes team on their 127 mile bike ride earlier this month. All of the group successfully cycled the entirety of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and have raised more than £7,000 in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The route the boys took passed by each of the Hunters’ branches. They began in Liverpool on August 6 and their aim was to cycle 40 miles a day. the route took them by the Skipton branch before finishing at the Hunters Leeds branch on August 8.

The team of boys, who were inspired by one of their fathers who sadly passed away from cancer, comprised of Benjie Ambler, James Goldberg, Adam Best, Finlay Bruce and Oli Walton, and were accompanied by three parents throughout their journey.

Commenting on the boys’ efforts, Pernilla Tweddle, head of marketing said: “This a courageous task the team of boys has undertaken and we were delighted to aid their efforts.

“Hunters has a strong affiliation to a number of charities and actively take part in a number of activities throughout the year for various charitable causes. Most recently, Hunters directors and head office staff completed a 67 mile ride across Yorkshire Dales and Hunters Ladies regularly take part in the York Race for Life for Cancer Research UK. ”
