The weather is also turning a little colder, but don’t let that put you off heading outdoors during this most scenic time of year. Yorkshire is lucky to be blessed with a wealth of wonderful walking spots, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park being among the most popular haunts. If you’re keen to blow off the cobwebs and do a bit of outdoor adventuring, these pretty spots in the Dales are a great place to start.
5. Aysgarth Falls

6. Ribblehead and Whernside
Take in the spectacular sight of the Ribblehead viaduct, before continuing on to Blea Head Tunnel and beginning the climb up the steep ascent of Whernside, the highest mountain in Yorkshire and one of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks. Photo: Shutterstock
7. Ingleborough
