Ranging from short family-friendly paths to more challenging tracks, Dalby Forest has several cycling routes through stunning woods, riggs and valleys.
Start at the Gardeners Arms in Bilton and take this leisurely 3-mile route to Ripley Castle, passing by the impressive seven-arch Nidd viaduct and taking in gorgeous river scenes along the way.
Starting at the Millennium Green in Riccall, this route is fairly flat and takes you across some lovely farm land. Highlights include York's Rowntree Park and ending at the Minster.
This time beginning in York, the Solar Cycle Route is a great track with a fun twist: you have to try and spot models of all the planets on the way. It's fairly flat and good for families.
