'This is how to look effortlessly polished': Nobody's Child Harrogate brings SS26 best wedding guest dresses
Nobody’s Child has a new Harrogate store, bringing with it a bold and beautiful summer womenswear collection cleverly designed to work and co-ordinate for weddings, work and holidays.
Look out for event-ready dresses, linen co-ords, summer day dresses and gorgeous accessories from sandals to bags, belts and jewellery.
Nobody's Child is at Prospect Place where it has taken over the space vacated by Lucy Pittaway Art Gallery.
It joins British fashion brands Me + Em and White Coco, which opened in Harrogate last year.

Last year, Nobody’s Child opened its first Yorkshire standalone store at Victoria Gate in the Victoria Leeds shopping district.
Nobody’s Child was founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Andrew Xeni. M&S has a 27 per cent stake and stocks the brand in selected M&S stores and online.
The Harrogate Nobody's Child store stocks a different and wider range compared with the nearby M&S store.
Nobody’s Child CEO Jody Plows says opening in Harrogate was a natural next step as the brand continues to grow its retail presence across the UK.

“Expanding our physical stores allows us to connect more closely with our community, giving customers the opportunity to experience the brand in a more personal and immersive way,” she adds.
Nobody’s Child teams up with modern fashion icons and at the moment has a petite (and regular) edit with Louise Thompson and a collaboration with Elizabeth Scarlett of summer holiday wear.
Everything at the brand is designed to be styled together.
Nobody’s Child says this season is all about modern boho, pressed florals, sunset shades, skirt and top pairings and playful polka dots that feel playful again.

The five summer SS26 fashion trends to know are:
Boho which brings flowing shapes and light layers, delicate details and easy movement for a free-spirited feel that’s relaxed, romantic and easy to wear.
“Easy, expressive and just undone enough, it brings a little softness to summer dressing while still feeling current,” says the NC team.
Pressed florals have a more delicate and refined appeal for summer, less about the bold blooms, more about the pressed petals and trailing botanical prints. “They still bring that romantic feeling, but in a way that feels calmer.”
Sunset shades - think butter yellow, coral, soft red and sun-soaked tones that bring an easy glow to your wardrobe. “These are the colours making occasion dressing and everyday outfits feel a little brighter.”
Skirt and top pairings are having a moment in gingham, soft cottons and breezy summer fabrics, striking a balance between put-together and relaxed.
“Worn together, they feel instantly styled, bringing a softer, more playful feel to matching sets. The fact that they work just as well separately only adds to the appeal.”
Finally, polka dots feel fresher and even more playful. “Reworked in softer shades, brighter tones and new colour combinations, they are showing up everywhere from polka dot midi dresses to lighter pieces that work from day to night. Familiar and full of personality, they bring energy to summer dressing.”
It’s one of those prints that always comes back around, but right now it's especially relevant. Easy, feminine and slightly nostalgic, polka dots make even the simplest silhouette feel more fun.
