West House Pottery’s Christmas collection for a cause
Its new ceramic collection, handcrafted by adults with learning disabilities supported by the Pottery, features seven beautiful pieces, including mugs, bowls, plant pots, and plates. Perfect for adding a festive touch to any table, each purchase directly supports the not-for-profit initiative, making every sale a meaningful contribution to the community and a true reflection of the Christmas spirit.
Using the finest stoneware, the range of ceramics is made with a combination of hand-building and press moulding techniques. Each piece is carefully hand-imprinted with stars, elegantly arranged around the rim, before being dip-glazed in a captivating deep blue, evoking the beauty of Cumbria’s iconic dark, star-filled skies. Every single item is stamped with the initials of the potter who has made the item, adding an extra special, personal touch whether purchased as a gift or as an addition to the festive tablescape.

Hide AdMaking a Christmas purchase with West House Pottery will help young people and adults with learning difficulties to build their creative skills and knowledge, grow in confidence and lead an independent, fulfilling life. The range itself has been designed and created by the adults with learning disabilities that the Pottery supports. The team has developed the concept for the range, carefully selected each piece, and mastered the skills needed to bring them to life. This process has given the West House potters a unique opportunity to be involved in every stage of creating a full ceramic collection, from initial idea to finished product. By purchasing from them this Christmas, you'll help expand the team, providing more individuals the chance to participate in future designs and creative projects.

The collection features charming tableware, including bowls, mugs, and plates, perfect for serving your festive feasts in style, from Christmas dinner to Santa's mince pies and a cosy cup of hot chocolate. In addition, the homeware range includes versatile items like plant pots, ideal for poinsettias, trinket dishes, and serving bowls—perfect for everything from festive treats to showcasing seasonal greenery.
Items in the West House Pottery Christmas range cost between £9 - £23 and are available to purchase online from Thursday November 7 at www.westhousepottery.co.uk.
