Images revealed of new £5m luxury hotel set to open in North Yorkshire by spring

Sandburn Hall, a golf resort on the outskirts of York close to the A64, aims to open as a hotel early next year following a £5m investment in the family-owned 1,000 acre estate.
It will have 40 bedrooms, including two luxury suites, with balconies overlooking its landscaped lakes and gardens.

Hotel director James Hogg, continuing the family legacy, said a natural design for the hotel laid at the heart of its development.
“We’re really crafting a brand new countryside hotel using fantastic raw materials such as the natural green oak beams which frame our triple-height lobby,” he said.
“We’re merging traditional and contemporary, with some of the rooms having exposed brick, and the whole building will be an echo to the trademark design of our existing meetings and weddings area, the Grand Function Hall, and Tykes restaurant.”
