This small countryside development is just 1.4 miles from the sea, combining convenience and all the facilities of nearby Bridlington, with the peace and tranquillity – and amazing views – of the East Yorkshire countryside.

This new development, at Moor Lane, is more than a holiday park – you can live here all year round and many of its residents have just spent their first winter there – in cosy brand new lodges with all mod cons.

Bridlington Holiday Park is for semi-retired or retired people and being a small development of less than 50 plots the emphasis is on peace and quiet – rather than the hustle and bustle of a family holiday site.

About the site

The site is pet-friendly (furry friends are welcome), and it’s close to the town centre, beach and local amenities, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. There are communal gardens which are currently being planted up and later this year a ‘club house’ bar and restaurant will be constructed.

Living here you’ll be able to take advantage of the views onto open countryside too.

General manager Damon Armitage said the family-run site has a friendly neighbourly feel – and residents love the peace and tranquillity.

“Because it is a new site everything is brand new – from the lodges to the pathways and gardens,” he said.

The site is open all year and lodges are available on a 20-year lease with a rolling one-year renewal after that. It offers low site fees and excellent security as the park is gated.

Available now

There are two and three-bedroomed lodges, offering spacious living accommodation, available right now.

The standard two bedroom lodge includes all furniture and fittings – and all come with a sofa bed in the sitting room, so could sleep up to six. There’s freestanding furniture, a beautiful bathroom with bath and shower, a double and single bedroom and an impressive amount of storage – and of course a fully fitted kitchen.

There are slightly wider lodges which allows room for an en-suite in the master bedroom, as well as the family bathroom, and double-width lodges which offer spacious living with large kitchens incorporating island units and a third bedroom which could be used for other things, such as an office space, walk-in wardrobe or hobby room.

All the lodges are double glazed have full utilities including mains drains and water and piped in gas – no messing about with bottled camping gas.

There is a fantastic choice of plots and each one has its own decking area, garden and parking for two vehicles.

Open to view right now

A mixture of Brexit and Covid has meant supply of new lodges has been very slow over the past few years, as manufacturers have been hampered by having to wait for parts and for staff.

“We’re incredibly lucky to have so many here and ready to take a look at and move into,” said Damon.

And with new lodges ready to move into from just £67,000 demand is going to be high.
