Stansted Airport seating: Yorkshire travel blogger reveals 'hidden' seating area at airport - which is always free

A blogger travelling from one of the UK's busiest airports has revealed - a hidden quiet seating area.

Cora Harrison, 31, says the space at London Stansted Airport is located a stone's throw away from the main area - but much quieter.

A video shows Stansted packed full of passengers - and Cora's hidden area with dozens of seats available. Cora filmed the video on September 25 before catching a flight to Sicily, Italy.

According to Conde Nast traveller, London Stansted Airport is the country's fourth busiest airport with over 23 million passengers passing through in 2022, so it is no wonder that that spare seats have become a scarce commodity.

Cora, a travel blogger from Wakefield, said: "Stansted Airport is a notoriously hard place to find a seat within departures. I came across this seating area by accident when I was travelling".

Cora runs a travel blog with her wife Helen Harrison, 31, and has been to 32 countries so far - and more recently has brought their 21-month-old son with them.

Cora said: "I've been three times now and I've always found it to be super quiet."
