New full fibre broadband in Huddersfield means thousands can access more reliable, faster internet

Zen
A growing number of homes are finding out the benefits of full-fibre broadband thanks to this internet provider.

Forget buffering – that wheel of doom – with unreliable and slow connections. Full fibre broadband from Zen Internet is proving a game-changer for customers as the provider follows the rollout of the faster, more reliable broadband infrastructure.

Nearly 40,000 homes can already access the service with Zen over the CityFibre network in Huddersfield.

So what’s different about Zen?

Full fibre technology means faster speeds for both uploads and downloads  - but it’s not just the reliability of the internet connection that Zen excels at – but the reliability of customer service and price too.

Zen was recently named the only Which? recommended provider for broadband for the fourth consecutive year.

It scored a top five stars for customer service, technical support, communication, and value for money – in fact it was one of only two providers to score maximum five stars for value for money, with 85 per cent of its customers rating them highly in this area.

Zen

Why is it such good value for money?

One reason is thanks to Zen’s contract price promise that guarantees no mid-contract price rises on its residential broadband packages.  In recent research Zen discovered that almost half (49%) of those surveyed said they didn’t think it was fair that broadband providers could increase prices mid-way through a contract.

And, whilst in December Ofcom announced a plan to ban inflation-linked mid-contract price increases, it’s not come into force yet and the big four providers put up their contract prices by as much as 8.8% this April.

But Zen has a price promise for its customers, with no price increases for the duration of the contract.

The same survey showed fears of switching continue to hold people back from changing provider. But Richard Tang, CEO, Zen Internet, spelled out the reasons to make the switch to Zen.

“Research shows price, reliability, and speed are top factors when choosing a broadband provider and Zen has again scored top marks across these categories. We also have a huge ethical focus putting people and the planet ahead of financial return for shareholders.”

Paul Wakefield, CityFibre’s Senior Partnership Manager for Huddersfield, added: “Through our partnership with Zen, customers in Huddersfield can choose and benefit from the UK’s only Which? recommended broadband provider. We look forward to accelerating Zen’s availability on the CityFibre network as we continue to build the rock-solid infrastructure that is delivering these full fibre services to homes across Huddersfield.”
